Portland United Youth Football Club

Portland United Youth Football Club, also known as PUYFC or 'The Blues' is a football club, which was formed in July 2001, originally as Portland Panthers. The Panthers joined Portland United FC as their youth section following discussions in June 2003.

We currently have nine teams entered in Dorset Leagues for the 2011-2012 season in the following age groups: U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s, U11's, U12’s, U14’s, U15’s and U18s. We also train U6’s that are not old enough to play in DCFA leagues yet.

The concept behind Portland United Youth FC is to give the younger children on the Island some sort of activity and hobby that can help to keep them keep fit and healthy whilst having fun.

We welcome all children from Portland and the surrounding areas who have an interest in playing football, but our numbers do have to be limited. Therefore we operate a waiting list system, to which your child’s details will be added.

The club is run by a committee comprising of up to ten members whose names, roles and contact numbers are listed on our Contact page.
